Introduction

I use the Smurfs episode "They're Smurfing Our Song" and the Prime Cut cartoon music video "The Love, Love, Love Song" (this is the music section off of the Powerpuff Girls episode "Mime For A Change"). This section is on love in general.

Scriptures used include Proverbs 10: 12 and I Corinthians chapter 13.

What have we learned so far? I will show a cartoon from the Smurfs called "They're Smurfing Our Song"

What do you see in this cartoon about love?

Bible Study IV: Read Proverbs 10: 12 and I Corinthians 13

What links the scripture here with the cartoon? Sassette was very brave indeed. Her undying love broke the hate in the pipe. This took a lot of faith, however all the faith in the world against that pipe wouldn't have been even remotely enough without that love of hers. As it says in the Bible: 'Love covers all wrongs'. Sassette and all the other Smurfs forgave Gargamel regardless if he changed or not. No strings attached.

I will now show a music video. Cartoon: "The Love, Love, Love Song" (Powerpuff Girls):

We can see this music video talks about forgiveness no matter what!! Shouldn't this remind us of our scripture in Proverbs? Yes, with a loving heart and a forgiving one as well, you won't have to 'Rent-A-Friend', or be remorseful about being hateful and mean. Love truly is the best thing in the whole entire world because it never fails. How can you show the true love of our Lord and Savior until we meet again and beyond free of charge?
